You will lead skilled crews, mentor apprentices, solve on site challenges and deliver standout residential results across retaining walls, decking, paving, pergolas, pool surrounds, terraces, patios, stairs and drainage.

What you will do

  • Supervise and inspire crews to deliver safe, on time, high quality work

  • Read plans, set grades, establish falls and ensure correct drainage

  • Build and finish retaining walls including block systems, stonework, steps, patios and paved surfaces

  • Coordinate materials, equipment and subcontractors to keep jobs on schedule and on budget

  • Troubleshoot site issues with practical, creative solutions

  • Train team members, enforce safety standards and keep daily logs and progress reports

  • Inspect finished work, communicate clearly with clients and ensure satisfaction

What you bring

  • At least five years proven experience in structural landscaping or hardscape construction

  • Strong skills with site grading and experience on excavators, dingos and bobcats

  • Confident using laser levels and other grade checking tools

  • Able to read and verify construction plans and details

  • Demonstrated leadership, crew management and problem solving ability

  • Current driver licence

  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions

  • WHS or safety certifications and trade or landscape credentials are a plus
